As the principal Graphic Designer at Sunfood, I worked in the Marketing Department and collaborated closely with the Director of Marketing and the Social Media Specialist on a variety of projects in both print and digital mediums: marketing campaign ideation, social media content creation, photography and photo editing, and graphics for email, web banners, landing pages, brochures, and postcards. I also worked with almost every department, particularly Production and Sales, in serving their graphic design needs, including package artwork, catalogs and sale sheets, trade show materials, and in-store customer touchpoints like flyers and coupons.

I balanced my designs with both Sunfood established branding and with modern updates in typography, layout, color, and photography. On a daily basis I designed using advanced skills in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Lightroom. I kept projects moving by communicating with team members via email, phone, and Asana (task management software).

As the sole in-house Graphic Designer at Sunfood, I concurrently worked on a myriad of projects. In my position, communication was key as I worked with different departments to receive tasks, gain feedback, revise designs, and prepare files for print production or for digital publishing. I was also responsible for organizing and managing the graphics server, which contains all of Sunfood’s visual, marketing, and packaging assets.
